Small Group Personal Training
Get the customized experience of personal training while benefitting from the support, camaraderie, and accountability of a group!
Unlike a typical group fitness class where everyone does the same thing, you’ll have your own program delivered through an app that you’ll be working through during your session.
Your coach will be there to help you navigate your program, provide feedback on your lifts, and support you. Each class is capped at 4 people for a personalized experience. Classes are 55-mins long.
Your program is based on your goals, injury history, experience, and preferences. Each program revolves around fundamental movements (squat, hinge, push, pull, etc.) and progresses over time. After 8 weeks, you and your coach will adapt your programming to help you continue to progress.
Small Group Personal Training is a recurring membership. Training 1x/week is $220 and training 2x/week is $400. You have the option to add an additional session a la carte.
We try to always reserve slots for those who need a sliding scale option. Please reach out, if this is you!
Small Group Personal Training
-
Small group personal training allows each individual to work on their unique training program with guidance from a coach while also getting the benefit of community, accountability, and camaraderie of training alongside other people.
Each member will have their own training program delivered via app. The app will keep track of all your reps and sets (so you’ll know what you did last time and what to plan for) and your coach will be guiding you on your programming, giving technique feedback, and helping you navigate challenges (and celebrate your wins!).
Programming will evolve as you do.

We specialize in strength training that centers around compound movements (which is just a fancy way of saying exercises that use multiple muscles/joints at once such as deadlifts, squats, bench press, etc.), bodyweight movements (push ups, pull ups, etc.) and other movements depending on your skill level, interests, goals, etc.
Your coach will help you choose the variations of exercises that are most appropriate for your goals, interests, and skill level.
Strength training involves quite a bit of repetition; instead of randomly choosing a different exercise each day, your program will repeat for several weeks (with slight changes) to allow for you to gain mastery of the movements and see your progress over time.
-
Four people max.
We intentionally keep our groups small so that your coach can actually coach you!
You’ll have your own programming and receive individualized feedback and support, while still getting the community, accountability, and camaraderie of training alongside other people.

Nope! You don’t need to know your way around a gym before you come to Solid Gold.
We have an onboarding process to help you learn the movements, equipment, and flow of the gym before joining an ongoing group.
-
There are three ways to get started:
If you’re a current or returning personal training client: You may be able to transition directly into an appropriate small group.
Complete our Small Group Onboarding Package: You’ll complete one or two 1-hour coaching sessions, either one-on-one or alongside an onboarding group of up to four people. If doing 1-on-1 sessions, cost is $100 for the onboarding. If doing it as a group, we can have those count in your membership so that you aren’t having to pay extra!
We’ll go over foundational movement patterns, modifications that may be helpful for you, how to use the equipment, how your programming works, and what to expect during class.
Attend a Solid Gold Workshop: Our 2-hour introductory workshops are a community-based way to get familiar with the gym, learn foundational movements, and experience how we train.
After the workshop, we’ll send you a questionnaire before getting you enrolled in an ongoing group.
What if I need more help before joining a group?
That’s completely fine. Part of onboarding is figuring out what kind of coaching environment will work best for you.
If we think you’d benefit from a little more hands-on coaching before joining an ongoing group, you can complete additional personal training sessions or attend another onboarding session or workshop.
The goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and supported once you enter your group.
-
Not necessarily!
You’ll have personalized programming through our training app. Your coach can adjust exercises, loading, progressions, and modifications based on your experience, goals, and needs.
You’re training with a group without getting lost in the group.

Our introductory 1x/week membership is $220 every 28 days, which works out to $55 per class.
Your membership includes one recurring class each week, programming for that class, and the ability to add on additional sessions or attend workshops at a discount.
You can add a second weekly class for $50 per class, subject to availability.
We also offer a 2x/week membership for $400 every 28 days, or $50 per session.
We offer discounts to pre-paid 3+ month memberships meaning if you commit to 3 months or more at a time, the rate will drop $5 per session.
Additionally, we always reserve some spots for sliding scale members. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to see if we can find a rate that works for you!
-
Your membership is based on a four-week training cycle.
Billing every 28 days keeps your membership aligned with your weekly training schedule: four weeks of training per billing period.
-
Yes! When you enroll in a group, you’ll choose an available recurring day and time.
That spot is held specifically for you each week.
Having a set training time helps you stay consistent and allows us to keep groups small without overbooking classes.
-
The app is called Everfit. You’ll create a login and then you’ll have your training program assigned to you. Each day you train, you’ll go into the app and your workout will be in there waiting for you. The app saves your sets, reps, weights, etc. and includes videos of exercise (though your coach will be able to provide hands-on help!).
-
Yes, when space is available. You’ll be able to reschedule 1 session per month. You can either roll it over to the next month or double up on a week.
We know schedules change occasionally. However, because your recurring spot is held specifically for you, frequent rescheduling makes it difficult for us to manage our small groups.
If you reschedule more than three classes during a 28-day membership period, we may ask you to choose a different recurring class time that better fits your schedule.
Our 24-hour cancellation policy still applies.
The gym is closed on major holidays and rescheduling those sessions will always be allowed.

Please give us at least 15 days’ notice before your next scheduled subscription payment.
If we don’t receive notice at least 15 days before your payment date, you’ll be charged for the next 28-day membership period.
